Lance passed away March 30, 2019 in St. Helen, MI. His children, Jennifer and Matthew, and his younger brother Scott, were there with him. RIP

Lance had a great sense of humor and was one of the nicest classmates I remember at OL Smith and Edsel.  In years past I spoke with him by phone a few times and he always was a class act in person and on the phone. He will be missed and may he RIP...

I met Lance when I attended OL Smith Jr High and got to know Lance pretty well.  He was always easy to get along with and a good athlete.  I will always remember him fondly

I knew Lance since kindergarten.  Seems like we were frequently in the same class together.  We were both "shorties" and when the teacher lined us up girls and boys (at Nowlin School), by height (why did they do that anyway??) Lance and I were always together at the end of the line.  He had a sister, Susan.  Were they twins?  I can't remember for sure.
