Carlton, Ronald Gilbert passed away on June 6, 2013, just 3 days shy of his 62nd birthday.  He was born on June 9, 1951 in Michigan, he was a resident of Burkeville, Texas for 8 years.  Ron was a veteran of the Vietnam War, in which he served active duty for the Marine Corp. Ron received the Purple Heart for Bravery with injury to protect his troops. Ron served four years.  He showed a great sense of humor, compassion and respect to all who knew him.  Ron loved to talk, fish and shop. Yes shop!  He was processed in death by his parents, brother, and wife; Patricia June Rector Carlton.  He was survived by a son and two grandchildren living in Michigan.  May you rest in peace Ron. We will miss you!
